Meetings
The Charlotte Business Guild offers a number of opportunities to network and meet new friends. Our primary events are monthly meetings that include a speaker and occasional special events such as Happy Hours, an annual fundraiser for local non-profits and an annual Lake Party.
Monthly Dinner Meetings
CBG hosts one event each month that is typically a dinner event on the third Tuesday of the month. These events offer mingling as well as some form of entertainment or education. Past speakers at the monthly meetings have included Greg Louganis, Candace Gingrich, former Major League Baseball player Billy Bean, Food Lion CEO Rick Anicetti, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce President Bob Morgan, Arthur Gallagher, President of Johnson & Wales University’s Charlotte campus, and U.S. Congressman Mel Watt.
Monthly events are on the third Tuesday of the month and are usually held at the VanLandingham Estate in the Plaza-Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte. Meetings typically offer dinner or other food options and cost $15 for members and $20 for non-members and guests (but pricing can change based on the event).
