FAQs

Do I have to own a business?
No!!! The Business Guild is a group of professionals in the Charlotte area. While some members do own their own businesses, it is not a requirement for membership.

Where do you meet?
The Business Guild has a monthly dinner meeting on the third Tuesday of every month. They are usually held at the VanLandingham Estate (2010 The Plaza, Plaza-Midwood).

How do I become a member?
Join the Guild by filling out the online form. A member of the board of directors will contact you about your membership inquiry. Membership dues are currently $50 per year for inidviduals or $80 per year for couples residing at the same address. Click here to view other membership options. It's a great way to check out the Guild if you're thinking of joining. Membership is not required to attend the social or monthly events.

Is the Guild active in the community?
Yes. We have supported and donated time and money to many organizations in the Charlotte community including the Lesbian and Gay Community Center, One Voice Chorus, Time Out Youth, RAIN, and others. In addition, we have strong corporate partnerships with Costco and The Charlotte Sting/Bobcats.

How do I update my mailing/contact information?
Go to the Join form. Fill this form out with the new information. At the bottom of the form, check the box that says "I am a current member updating my information". We will update your records when the notification is received.
